NOW, FIRST OF ALL DONT GET MAD AT ME!

My Physiotherapist told me no sewing sitting at the machine for hours on end, so I didn't

I've made these standing! First 3 of 8. These are for my ladies luncheon and I love ❤️ them. Love Chris

UPDATED: Here are the final 8.

PS: This design is from Sweetpea Embroidery.

Just love these, and everything else you manage to get made, in spite of all your pain/discomfort. Your luncheons may be what your home friends look forward to, but your Cutie friends also enjoy seeing your table set. Great work my friend!

Oh Chris, this is wonderful. I can understand you; your head was full of ideas what to do and then the doctor says "No, you are not allowed". But this is extra creative to work standing instead of sitting. That's what they recommend to the office people if their back hurts. Very clever. Wishing you getting better quickly. <3 and Hugs - Maria

My best friend is moving house on the 1st December and will only have been in her place for 4 days before having to come up here and it's about a 2 hour drive for her!! Then another 2 back down to her place. I'm going down to see her in the new year, can't wait. The new place is amazing on 5 acres! Love Chris

I have a lovely set of drawers in my sewing room that I would put my embroidery machine on if I couldn't sit at it.
Have you tried that, raising the height of your machine by putting it somewhere else?? :-)
Lovely work, as usual, and don't do them all at once. We want you upright and well for the luncheon with the ladies and Christmas with the family.

pennifold by pennifold 25 Nov 2016

Good morning Pat, thanks for the hint. I have a sewing table that is higher than where the Husqvarna usually sits. I haven't tried it yet. A few of you have suggested raising the machine, but I can stand with this design as it only takes about 30 minutes to make. I've nearly finished them. Love Chris

Beautiful work. Years ago after a whiplash injury my Chiropractor gave me a weigh that hangs from the shoulders. I had to sit all day at work which is why he recommended it. Then I saw it at JoAnn's in the notions department. They still have it. You may want to ask your therapist about using something like this. http://www.joann.com/body-rite-po...

What do they say? "You can't keep a good woman down". Where there's a will, there's a way. The luncheon is still on Didi, it's on the 12th December and would you believe the weekend before my luncheon I'm at the Newcastle Synod, so Trev will have to set up the back room with the table and chairs etc. I'm decorating the house this weekend as its the first week of Advent and the official time to put up your Christmas tree and decorations. Can't wait just love ❤️ Christmas, love ❤️ Chris
