Yes, I remember sundresses for Christmas. So cute and precious pattern. They will be adorable. You must take photos for us to see. Kay
A very productive rain day. It is a darling dress.
Oh wonderful, dear Chris, the girls will look adorable in their new dresses. Everything lovely - the pattern, the fabric and of course your beautiful granddaughters! There is a heritage in cuteness from you to your daughters to the next generation! Happy sewing!
Oh how lovely. Beautiful fabrics & such a cute pattern - lucky little girls.
Great job.
Beautiful job Chris. Wish we had some of your rain. We are under extreme drought conditions here right now.
Thanks Miss Lillian - at this time of year here in Newcastle we have quite a lot of Spring rainfall and amazing thunder and lightning ⛈ storms. I love ❤️ seeing them. Luv Chris
Delightful dresses, though like a number of others summer dresses and Christmas is an unusual combination.
Thanks Caroline, yes it must be unusual for you Northerners to grasp our heatwave conditions here in Australia at Christmas. Luv Chris
Beautiful dresses. Your Grand Children are so lucky to have you as their Grandmother. They will just love these dresses. Hugs Shirley
Thanks so much Shirley, I hope they remember this in years to come. I still remember in particular a little red pinspot voile dress Nanna made me and I LOVED THAT DRESS. Love Chris
Beautiful job, Chris...the girls will look adorable!
Thanks Kim, hope so. I'm always inspired by your beautiful dresses for your great nieces. Luv Chris
How wonderful for these girls. I still remember the dresses my grandmother made for me and how proud I was to have such nice clothes.
That's lovely Jerrilyn-I remember my Nanna making me our clothes too with great fondness. Luv Chris
Lovely dresses, Chris! Nice to have Christmas in the summer.
Sue, I have not had a Christmas in Northern hemisphere for about 50 years and it still does not feel like Christmas when it is hot.
Thanks Sue, we have never experienced a winter Christmas.. Maybe one day we'll get to enjoy a cold Christmas. Luv Chris
Darling dress and love the fabric. They so lucky.
Love the fabric you have chosen!
Thanks, Dana's girls loved it. Haven't shown Amy's girls - Ophelie and Delphi yet, but I'm sure they will love it too, luv Chris
The girls will look the part in these lovely dresses..
This is pretty, I love this pattern. I must get a move on with my Christmas sewing.
Your grands will love them in all variations you come up with. Christmas and summer dresses are still an odd combo to me. All I can think of is woolly jumpers and mittens :))
Yes I know it's hard to comprehend the different seasons with northern and Southern Hemispheres. I hope the other dresses turn out as nice too, luv Chris
the grandies are going to be very pleased with their Grandmotherxx
Very nice design. Looks like Summer. I had some of the Merry Christmas word fabric given to me as the print ran crooked on the fabric. Better check yours to see if it is straight as it will show up if used for the bodice or bottom. Mine was out by about an inch or so. Didn't matter with my project I could cut it crooked so it look straight when finished.
I had the same problem with this fabric so have only used it for projects where it isn't so obvious
Chris, these dresses will be stunning when all finished for our hot days ahead, no rain here today overcast. Sun just come out now but still cloudy and very windy. Sandra.
Thanks Sandra, sun has come out now too. I'm just about to go and make some pizzas for dinner. Luv Chris .
