Here in Tennessee, we had "early" voting. My DH and I were number 1 and 2 for the White County voting... Now, let God bless the winner to help our great country.

Due to a question privately asked I wanted to qualify that "White County" is not color or colour (across the pond) related. Our states in the US are further broken up into counties (the R is not there- not Country). White County was named for a man whose last name was White. It is not race related.

Well written and so true. Thanks for dispelling that!

Thank you so much for the clarification. You are so correct in that White County is named after a gentleman and not race related. I have to remember that there are provinces, villages, hamlets, barrios and much more that I know. Again, thank you.

I'm surely glad we have early voting! Sure saves a lot of long lines on election day! More time to sew! :-)

Maleah,
I agree that the leaders of all countries need the prayers of its citizens. As a citizen of the U.S.A., I believe our nation is in dire need of prayers!! There is nothing political in asking for DIVINE intervention!!
Hugs, Angel

Maleah...........I'm sure that no Cuties were offended and that it was not your intention to introduce politics into the forum. Interestingly, reading your post and the replies you received prompted me to realise that I made a comment in another post the other day which related to a political issue on this side of the pond (UK and Europe). Like you, my comment was not intended to be politically confrontational but if it was construed in that light then I do so humbly apologise if any offence was caused. Clearly, I wasn't thinking within the bounds of the rules that apply.

Sorry if I offended anyone. That was not my intentions. It is just a hope that we will all pray for all of our countries to be blessed....

I am in total agreement with graceanham in that it is not a topic for Cute. May I remind one and all that Cute is a world wide site and not just one country. I am one of the many who do not live in the states

I've been wanting to comment about things political, as they are important, but we agreed not to on this site!
