To all my Canadian cutie friends, "Happy Thanksgiving."

I will be celebrating with my 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 2
great grand-babies and a few others.
I am only preparing a few dishes myself, kids are bringing turkey and desserts.
This is a first without my loving husband and it is very painful and I will try not to cry.
There is still a lot to Thank God for. I still feel blessed.

God bless
Doreen

Happy Thanksgiving. If there are a few tears mixed in, it does not make you ungrateful. Maybe it shows your gratitude for the love you've had in your life with him? Life is not worse or better, just very different after the loss of a great love. Practice naming off a few things for which you are grateful. I still remember the Thanksgiving at Mother's when my sister suggested we go around the table and each name one thing for which we were grateful. OH NO! my Mom said. I've worked all day long to have all this food hot and ready at the same time and we are not going to do that! So I guess that year we were all grateful for Mom's hot food.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian friends and family. Please enjoy being with your family. I know it's hard but remember each of your tears is a testimony to the love you continue have for each of your family members.
