This is a little dress given as a freebie on Pixiefaire site. I did add my own placket to the back and fit the Velcro onto that. Instead of using a glitzy buckle I sewed a button onto the center front and used the rhinestone heat applicator to set the rhinestones. Fits the Am. Girl Doll exactly. My granddaughter loves it and the color happened to fit the doll's shoes. I don't know why the 4th picture looks like the bodice is rippled--it is not.

How cute, I've got that chevron fabric somewhere here too! Your grand-daughter will love dressing her dolls in it. Love Chris

She did love it and she picked out the color and the Chevron material. I had the other to match in my stash. It fit her American Doll to a 'T'.

She's already asking for more. I told her we'd have to see what Christmas brings--her birthday present in August is already purchased.

Yes, I had to make that facing on the inside for the Velcro--I thought the dress looked funny overlapping in the back and don't think it would have actually closed in back according to the pattern.

Thank you Kim. She loved it and wants more. Will have to adapt that pattern bottom sometime and make a circle skirt to fit the bodice I think next. Just a thought.
