This past weekend, hubby and I went on our annual 2nd of the 8th Cav Viet Nam reunion. We (especially the wives) had a ball. Not only catching up but sight seeing in Louisville, Ky. Each year it is hosted in a different area. Jim and I hosted last years in Gatlinburg, Tn. It is always such an honor to see the gentlemen how gave so much of their lives so we may have the freedom we have here in America. Thanks to all Veterans everywhere. God Bless.

How wonderful that your group has such support from each other. I'm so grateful for the willingness to serve and also for those spouses who serve by taking care of the home front.

Kudos to you for starting a great tradition. Our spouses and we need to get together to celebrate, to share and to support each other. Thanks to you and to your hubby for all that have done and continue to do.

Thanks to all vets for whichever country they have served, though the USA vets are especially close to my heart. So many continue to live with the after effects of having served. I am grateful that the 2nd of the 8th Cav are able to meet together each year and it is great that you share the responsibility of hosting the event and choosing new sites to visit. A wonderful way to get to see new areas you may not have otherwise traveled to. Thanks again to each and every person who has served, and to their families also as they too have served and continue to serve as they help their vet during any difficult episodes. Glad you had fun It is wonderful when our older (my generation and above) vets gets together and support each other. Is yours a bike group? We have a few bike groups here that meet monthly and then rally once a year somewhere.
