Been going to Good Will recently and look what I found--hubby agreed I could have it and went with the hauling trailor to get it. Nothing wrong with the entertainment center except for the long oak shelf that would have sat over where the t.v. should be. Thought my Baby Lock would work there but have to move it back to my side table. Not enough room for hooping mess. Looks better with stuff hidden now. Corner plastic tower bought at yardsale for next to nothing with first 4 drawers full of wooden and plastic mount ink stamps and another 2 drawers of inks of different colors. Hadn't yard saled in years but got a tip on this one.

We all need as much vertical storage as we can get!
Question - how do your stackable white shelves handle being stacked as tall as they are? Is there any bowing? This I could easily do in my sewing room.

It came as a tower with 7 drawers and has coaster wheels on it. I stacked my small 3 drawer one on top and is stable as can be. Top 3 full of wood block stamps as is the top drawer on the 7 drawer tower. Next two drawers has ink pads. I have scissor, paint brushes and accessories and then all my tubs and bottles of paint in the others. That tower I got at the yard sale I went to. I had my car stuffed for a whole whopping $32.00. The entertainment ctr was found at GoodWill for $35.00. Love it.

Thank you for your reply. Will try some stacking of my drawers to maybe make the room look more organized.

These cabinets sell for very little where I live. I have seen them cleverly converted into various storage cabinets.

A sheet of plywood stuck down across the back to close it in.
A couple of sheets of chipboard covered with that sticky-back imitation timber look paper,
a few holes drilled and spaced equally into each side of the opening with four of those little metal and plastic plug-in supports and Voila!
You will have some nice adjustable shelves for very little outlay.
It sure is a nice looking cabinet.

Kind of what I told my husband. Put a back on so no see thru but mostly wanted him to build a shelf or two. Don't know if that will ever happen. I do have to move the Baby Lock though. Wouldn't be able to hoop anything with bulk so back on my table and move my other computer I use to read embroidery instruction on and not get on the internet with to that t.v. space.

Great idea and a great find! I agree, put in shelves over where your Babylock fits and you will have more storage. Enjoy this unit for many years to come. I love my Babylocks! Enjoy yours.

Maybe you. could put some shelves in yourself. Nice find.
A few weeks ago we came home to find a large chest of drawers put out on the footpath, the only thing wrong with them ,was two missing handles. It was too heavy to move ,so we took out the drawers first & then carried the carcass home. Now it is waiting for daughter to collect ,a few hundred dollars saved.

What a lovely cabinet.
We had a pine corner unit for the TV but when the new models came out slim line they wouldn't fit in as they were too wide.
Maybe this is why it was sold.
Keep your eye out for a set of drawers that will fit into the centre part and you will have extra storage.
