I don't remember if it was "Toogie" or someone else but I am looking for instructions on making little tutu skirts and sewing them on the bottom of T shirts for little girls. Hahahaha, silly, that last part. Like I was going to make one for me grammy right? Just need some help on how to do this. You tube wasn't helpful. Thank you for any help.

Hi, I'm sorry I didn't respond but I just saw your post.
I never attached tulle, but I did attach a fabric skirt, to a tee shirt for my grand. Gosh let me see if I can remember. I used fat quarters, because she was 2. I cut the length I needed PLUS the hem for bottom and seam allowance, for the top to gather to the tee. I used the full width of the FQ's. Sewed the FQ together, this will be your side seams-found center of each, front and back. Found center of tee, front and back. pinned skirt to tee, pulling gathering threads to match side seams and center marks. I stitched, most likely, with my serger but you can stitch with regular machine, just don't stretch the tee fabric, as you sew.
I think this is what I did. Cuties that sew, does this sound right?

Yes. If you want a starting place, decide how much fullness of the tulle by choosing double, triple or more of the width of the T shirt. (For instance, lots of window curtains are twice the width of the window before gathering.)

Toogie, I so appreciate you answering me and yes it was a little T shirt dress I was thinking of. Thank you for including the link for the little tulle skirt, might try that too. Thanks again, my great grandbaby is 1 so I do have a little time to "fuss" with her clothes.
