Please make sure your post is new and not just a repeat of someone else's post or a repeat link. Many freebie posters take the time to check and we a so thankful for the ones that do. Every single post needs to be checked by the one posting it every single time. Checking helps keep the website running well -- only if every person checks prior to posting any link. Also, make sure your link works EVERY time you post one.

Repeats may be removed without notification. Links that do not work will be removed (we remove the entire post).
Please help us have time to stitch by doing the "right thing" as we all have threads we want to use and Moderators also need time with families and time to create. Thank for your help with this!

Thank you to all the moderators, who work so hard to keep us safe, and sort out ALL the problems. Sandra.

Thank you all for your service. I still see many posts with the same information and links. Perhaps a tutorial on the best way to check for previous posts on a particular subject or website would help. Possibly a private message to serial offenders. Perhaps they have a language barrier that keeps them from reading and/or understanding your message.

We have done just as you say in the past. We try very hard to handle all issues in the PM system. However, since it is "only" a common courtesy thing and not a stated rule for the forum, some feel (and state) that they can do as they please. Our newer users follow the example of the long time members.

How sad.

You Moderator ladies provide such a wonderful, vital yet mostly frustrating service. I just wonder how you find the time and where you get the patience from. There is no question that without your control and kindly influence, this forum would not be able to exist which would result in thousands of ladies (and probably one man) losing their second home and the source of so much information. I do hope that members pay heed to Mrs. Rescuer's message. Now, I just hope that I haven't posted this message before, otherwise I'm going to be in big trouble!

Dennis, we only delete duplicate messages -- not the user. ;) You are never in more trouble here than you are at your first home. :D

We do hope this is a kind/loving place to be. I am thankful for the added moderators.

Not much chance of that, methinks but then hope springs eternal.

Wouldn't that be wonderful?

...spending the holidays with family and friends or sewing/embroidering to our hearts content? One day, we hope!
