Dear marymoore,
Wonderful! Thanks. Now I have got it for future reference, too.

PS.
Wonder ... how "that" top is still in place... ha..
Thank you for the link!! Yes, it is a wonder that the top is still where it belongs.
Dear Lyn4,
If you have a program (I have the Ambassador from Tajima that I downloaded a long time ago. Sorry, tried to find it for you, but cannot get the right site.) you could open your designs and look at the stitch density. For example, I have got many of the "Sue Box Creations" embroidery designs that I purchased. If you download any free FSL from that site, hers are absolutely wonderful, compare them with the ones you have.

My suggestion would be that next time you download any design, put "FSL" to the name before saving it.
Good Luck.

Yes, Mary I should have been doing that all of the time, but was distracted while being S.A.D.D. Thank you I will go get the Ambassador!
Lyn On the computer I put all my FSLs in a folder named lace, that way I can keep up with them. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish whether or not it is FSL, *4U
Had I not been so busy being S.A.D.D. I would have taken the time to mark them properly when downloading them. I was just in my element downloading these wonderful designs, far more than I could ever expect to use!!
The most important thing with FSL is that the background is attached to the design. If you have software you can view it in, the borders have to go over the background outline. If not you would get gaps and holes. In that case stitch it out on tule, net or organza. Hope I was clear enough, but I think our own FSL queen can give you advice.
Thank you, I will check out & compare the ones that I have marked with some of the others.
