Beautiful Job- Your guild is tip top if this quilt only made 2nd! Very nice and I love the consistency of the patterning of the colors, flowing throughout in the same color order even moving from the triangles to circles. Congratulations!

Beautiful! I'm not sure how the design is assembled, is it appliqued on the black? What is the finished size ?

The design is cut out of black fabric and then different colour shapes are cut and fused from the back of the black fabric. size about 24" x 36"

Challenge Quilt 2015-2016 Guidelines


Theme: My Amazing Technicolor Dream Quilt

Guidelines:

1. The quilt will use a minimum of four (4) of the following colors in their purest forms (no white added to lighten the color):
a. Red
b. Orange
c. Yellow
d. Green
e. Blue
f. Purple
g. Pink (think raspberry or magenta, not baby)
h. Turquoise
2. Black and/or white may be used as background color.
3. Print/patterned fabrics can be used if they adhere to the vibrant color requirement.
4. Quilts must have a minimum perimeter of 100 inches. There is no maximum size restriction.
5. All quilts must be pieced and quilted by the entrant.
