There is a embroidery site I saw this saying;
I went to one of those wine and paint nights, the teacher told me that I was great at wine. :)
Carolyn.... that is wonderful.... is it oil's..... I have oil painted before and it's not an easy thing to do... or it wasn't for me... My late Uncle was a great painter.....he had such beautiful paintings of almost anything you could think of.... he even painted old trucks, barns, etc..... he tried to teach me... but I wasn't anywhere as good as he was...... So.... .Great job from someone who have done a couple of them in my life........ :) Mechille
Well my first impression was of Cherry Blossom time in Japan. It's a great way of painting but I think I'd prefer the wine instead of tea!! he he he. You did a great job and you had fun and isn't that what it's all about. Love Chris
I''ve been told that with the wine, the painting gets better and better until you get it home and look at it the next day!
none of the 18 there drink they did have a couple bottles of apple juice something??but i had coffee and pop lol
well you have jiust discovered another talent, looks great
hugs
Michelle
Magnificent work of art.. Haven't heard of this type of party, would have been lots of fun...
great result and even greater you had fun together in painting.
Years ago I did something simulair with : Bob Ross paintings, all same instructions same object and every painting was different.
But I like yours !!
Great Job and sounds like you had a fun time and are willing to continue learning a craft, that sounded like you had not thought you could create something beautiful and you were able to create a wonderful painting and willing to attempt to follow what the teacher was trying to teach the group. Looking forward to seeing your next creation! Continue having fun learning. Pam
Some years back they had a couple of Sip and Paint places in near by towns. Some of my nurse friends were going and it was wine they were sipping.. Looks like you had fun and I like what you painted. Glad you get the opportunity to do things like this. Lillian
I haven't heard of that party line.
Did something similar at a craft show.
The teacher gave the instructions and we diligently followed them. And yes, the same here - - Every painting turned out different. I didn't like mine, so hid it in the cupboard. :-)
My daughter has been to a few in the Seattle area, but it's wine they sip, not tea...lol
She really enjoys it...
Love your pictures.....good job...
I love it and wish I could do something like this! Congrats!!! Where will you hang it?
Beautiful...sounds like a lot of fun...a bit Van Gogh inspired I think..
I love it. I see cherry blossoms on the tree. Sounds like a lot of fun. You painted a great picture.
Well, not that you're an old dog, but it seems you can teach painting to someone willing. Good job!
Carolyn, this is beautiful!! At first glance, the sun reminded me of the style of a Van Gogh painting. Perhaps there will be more painting in your future. Sounds like you had a great time.
My brother and SIL did a class like this and had a wonderful time. You did a great job. I'm afraid I would be hopeless since I can't draw a straight line to save my life.
here they call it painting with a twist, you get a glass of wine. i haven't tried it but I think you did great, You need to start a paint and sew class.
Pretty good. I can't paint worth fiddly. My daughter had a birthday party with her friends where everyone did a painting. Sounds like the same thing.
