It is still really nice Carolyn. I like it a lot and you did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing. Mechille :)
lovely work , he certainly looks an proud bird.
Hugs Pam
The site should have said that stone placements were not included. Perhaps you could stitch the design on some star type fabric, I know you are in Canada and don't buy 4th of July fabric but find some masculine like bolts of lightening . I do love the design! Kay
Wow that is so cool! Must have a zilloin stitches. I like that you used metalic thread. Hugs, Suzanna
Great job Carolyn, lovely design, I too like best the one with the rope border.
Hugs, Roberta
I like this eagle a lot! Especially the one with the rope border. I've also purchased things thinking the entire example was what I was buying. I'm more careful nowadays. Using the metallic thread was a fantastic design choice!
Still looks great Carolyn. Love the shine you added to it.
Hi Carolyn,
I like very much your eagle. It is gorgeous with metallic thread. I understand your disappointment ... you pay for something and you do not receive it ....
Have a nice day...
Hugs, Céline
P.S. snowing again and again...lol
Nice job, but I can understand your disappointment...you could add the "stones" by using a candlewick stitch for the stars...they would look super done in metallic threads!!!
Well I like your version better with the metallic thread - gorgeous! If you don't want to use rhinestones or crystals, you could make the star using the candlewick stitch that came with your machine. I bet it would look fabulous also in metallic, possibly a gold, to complement the silver eagle. He is a beautiful bird.
It is beautiful, Carolyn, even without the stones.......is that silver metallic you used? It looks fabulous!
Your stitch-out looks great even without rhinestones!
Hugs, Lidia
It is easy to apply the rhinstones if you have a template for it. Only apply the rhinstones on the template , use a transfer sheet and iron on.
Your embroidery looks great.
Hugs Bärbel
Oh that is a shame. I too would be very disappointed. I looked at that design on the site earlier & thought how great it was with the stars.
But despite the no star look, yours has turned out beautifully.
I can understand your disappointment. I think if they are showing the design, they should show it as is, and then show a sample of what one can do with it. lesson learned before one buys a design. i do think it stands out more in a dark background. you are always up for a new project. wish i can say the same about me. but coming soon. hugs, Mary
It looks great, but I can understand your disappointment.
They call it rhinestone embroidery, but when you click on the colorchart, you only see the eagle. Does it come with a template for the rhinestones?
Your eagles are very nice but I too would be disappointed to learn that the stars are not included in the design. They certainly do not make that clear.
Carolyn, nice job with this, question what is the background material on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd photos. The 4th is excellent really stands out well, a nice design you have chosen. Sandra.
