The site should have said that stone placements were not included. Perhaps you could stitch the design on some star type fabric, I know you are in Canada and don't buy 4th of July fabric but find some masculine like bolts of lightening . I do love the design! Kay

I like this eagle a lot! Especially the one with the rope border. I've also purchased things thinking the entire example was what I was buying. I'm more careful nowadays. Using the metallic thread was a fantastic design choice!

Hi Carolyn,
I like very much your eagle. It is gorgeous with metallic thread. I understand your disappointment ... you pay for something and you do not receive it ....
Have a nice day...

Nice job, but I can understand your disappointment...you could add the "stones" by using a candlewick stitch for the stars...they would look super done in metallic threads!!!

yes i might just do that hugs

Well I like your version better with the metallic thread - gorgeous! If you don't want to use rhinestones or crystals, you could make the star using the candlewick stitch that came with your machine. I bet it would look fabulous also in metallic, possibly a gold, to complement the silver eagle. He is a beautiful bird.

It is easy to apply the rhinstones if you have a template for it. Only apply the rhinstones on the template , use a transfer sheet and iron on.
Your embroidery looks great.

Oh that is a shame. I too would be very disappointed. I looked at that design on the site earlier & thought how great it was with the stars.
But despite the no star look, yours has turned out beautifully.

I can understand your disappointment. I think if they are showing the design, they should show it as is, and then show a sample of what one can do with it. lesson learned before one buys a design. i do think it stands out more in a dark background. you are always up for a new project. wish i can say the same about me. but coming soon. hugs, Mary

It looks great, but I can understand your disappointment.
They call it rhinestone embroidery, but when you click on the colorchart, you only see the eagle. Does it come with a template for the rhinestones?

Your eagles are very nice but I too would be disappointed to learn that the stars are not included in the design. They certainly do not make that clear.
