Sometime ago I have stitched out a couple of wall hangings featuring the Mill and the Well designs. I was fascinated by these traditional, thatched constructions so this time I have made a wall hanging featuring a cottage. These designs come from the Traditional Homes & Gardens by Sue Box. The frame is mine, the eyelets for the bow are an old freebie (thanks to the digitiser).

Your work is impeccable. I love seeing all the old fashioned or ethnic type places, dwellings etc in your frames and then joined with the beautiful flowers, bows etc.

Love the thatched cottages, you have done a great job with this. I have a few which are stumpwork 3 dimensional hand embroidery, cross stitch and continental stitch tapestries. As my husband is English these re among our favourites. Sandra.
