Hadn't even thought of that. I bought spare P feet a few years ago online as I had 2 break in a short time and the last time had trouble getting one as the shop said they usually have to order them in and it could take a week.
Did you contact the Janome dealer at Everton Park in Queensland?
He has an online shop and is very knowledgeable.

I've never broken one of the plastic feet, but they are easy to lose as they are transparent. My 15000 is the first Janome machine I've had with a metal foot and it looks exactly the same - so they are available. Just check that it doesn't invalidate your warranty though.

I've double checked, the metal foot is longer than the plastic one so they may not be interchangeable.

Thanks Sue

Sue, either you have been most fortunate or your machine is perfection. I stitch much of 6 or 7 days a week and in about 6 years I have broken at least 4 P-feet. I always keep a couple of spares.

I have a Janome 500e, just removed the metal embroidery foot to try and yes it does fit my Elna 8600 which only has a plastic embroidery foot, never had a breakage in ten years . But you have to adjust the needle placement on the Elna, if you are able to do that it would be okay i guess. Mainly it is where the needle drop placement into the bobbin case will be if you have that facility to move the needle left or right on any machine. I will ask my Janome dealer when i see her during the next week. You will probably void any warranties you have . Sandra.

I dont think you are able to move the needle with the the Janome

That is bad luck, but i will still ask my Janome dealer some questions next week. Also enquire about metal feet. Sandra.

I asked this same question at my local store and they said janome doesn't make one. :(
I wanted a spare metal one for my ith projects as that is when I seem to have problems with the p foot
I would love to know if you do find one that fits. I am guessing it may be another brand. My 350e is out of warranty so using a different foot won't void it.
I only have one janome dealer near me and didn't even think to check online.
