Good news of no cast. Praying it will heel okay and no pain. Stay in and stay warm. No shovelling of that snow you are getting. Take care, Hugs Lynn
Nice the cast is off but ouchie on the wrist... Hopefully you will heal quickly now...
Doctor's scare me when they say things like that. As a teenage I lost my left eye in an auto accident. Last year I had cataract surgery, when the Doctor finished he said "I am as glad as you are it is over". OMG, I was glad he didn't say that before.
Thank care of yourself Carolyn, I love seeing your "fun"!
Kathy
Thanks for the kind words i am doing great:):)I had my eyes done last year and they never been right since that:(:(
Glad you got there and home safely. Hope your pain heals soon. Hugs Shirley
Thanks Shirley i do to i need to goooooooooo lol
But i am taking it easy :):)hugs
So glad you are home safely and without cast...hopefully the pain will subside quickly...will hold good thoughts and prayers for you...
Glad you are save. Have you thought about seeing another doctor? Someone who deals with wrists on a daily basis?
So did he give you the cortisone shot? You poor dear, it is awful all the trouble you have had with this arm........will pray it gets resolved once and for all.......huggers!
Back home safe and sound without your cast GREAT. Hope the pain will soon disappear and your arm will be back to normal before too long. You shall have to find other light chores to do while the snow comes down and you recuperate. Stay warm. Sandra.
Carolyn. If you are not better in a couple of months, see another Dr. If he has only done two wrists , get some one else. Do you have the ability to choose another doctor? Kay
Oh Carolyn, I for one, am relieved to hear you made it home safely. I know what you mean about being stiff and it hurts. Dr wanted to see today how much I could, or he could bend my leg, not much, but will have therapy.....only fixed 2 wrists...and you drove that far?-lol-not funny I know, but it doesn't encourage you saying that and it still hurts. ..Well, I'm still glad you are home again.
Now that's done and you are home safe and warm maybe you can stay in and enjoy your cast free arm.
I'm thinking you may have to put a 2 hour alarm clock setting beside your machine! 2 hours "on" and 2 hours "off". ??? Those of us who don't drive on snow were quite worried about you till you posted! I know you are grateful to leave the nasty old cast with the doctor and move forward!
Glad to hear you got home safely, and cast-free!!! I know it will be a challenge for you to actually "take it easy". You do so much every day, and not just in your sewing room. Hope you do get to rest your wrist so it can heal better. With all the snow you are getting, it is a good time to sit in front of the fire and watch a goid movie. Stay warm!
Glad to see you home safely, we have all been thinking of you out there on the snowy roads. Hope your wrist improves, I know how inconvenient those casts are, I had one for 6 months after 2 months in plaster. Great relief when it came off. All the best. Cheers Bev.
Oh! I'm so sorry to hear that you are still in pain. I remember when Mum had her cast off her wrist and she said it was still sore for a couple of weeks later. She is now fine. I do hope that yours heals as fast Carolyn! In the meantime take it easy and rest it as much as possible. I know that will be hard for you, but if I can do it, so can you! I'm just feeling like getting back to doing some sewing, but I'm really just looking at the moment and will try something easy. Good luck my dear and I hope the drive wasn't too harrowing. Congratulations on getting back home - keep warm. Love Chris
Yes i think i will be like Mum it was really stiff this morning but getting better already thanks hugs
