This has been my latest project, still unfinished as baby Jesus is still missing. The figures are paper pieced(Designs from my quilting teacher) but the faces are embroidered, The back scenery is what I call "Painting with fabric" The second photo shows the embroidered city. The star is FSL (Own designs)

I don't sell just give away. Most of these designs are from my quilting course though and patented by the teacher.

Wow! It is certainly a labor of love and well worth all of the time and effort you put into it.

Lots of work and time spent- quite happily I suspect.

I cross stitched an Advent calendar many years ago, but I never put it all together; and, now my granddaughter I stitched it for is nearly grown.

Guess it will be for her son or daughter when she decides to marry and have children herself.
