I really think the all white on the black towel is more stunting! I wish I had your battery! My battery runs down quicker than yours. I am lucky to find 2hrs for my sewing room. Maybe I should move my lap top to my sewing room! Kay
Well do what makes you sew i keep running up and down the stairs allllllllllll day lol hugs
Both look great. The purple might become a bathroom hand towel- we all have different color schemes going.
Jo
I think both look great. Thread colors have to go with the background they are sewn on - so sometimes they are not traditional colors - but they still look great. :)
I much prefer the green one as it is more traditional
I think that the purple makes the design show up real bright, but I'm not a purple person..... But they both look really good and I like the designs...
Thanks for sharing. It would be nice to have Christmas gifts done..... I don't have any finished.. still trying to get GD's quilt/learning blanket finished.... Slow going. Hope all is well. Mechille :)
The purple is a nice warm colour and the white on it look icey and snowy.
Hugs Pam
Oh! that is a pretty Christmas tree! Love the Purple one! Love Chris
They are both beautiful. Purple is a color that is royalty so I think it is very Christmas. .
I don't think color means a thing. I like them both and just use the contrasting threads like your purple with white threads. It shows up very nicely.
I love the purple, especially for your house, my friend! And if a few years back all the stores were showing Pink and Turquoise as the "HOT" Christmas colors, who's to say that you haven't started a trend for a Purple Christmas! Hugs, Deb
All colours seem to be used now days, the brighter the better. Loke the purple. Sandra.
I like them both. I am really bad about stopping a one color design in the middle of stitching and change the color here and there.
Both Trees are lovely. The white or silver one looks like snow on the tree. I agree with pennyhal2 that color is really personal preference.
I am old school Dark Red or Burg, Green, Blue, and Gold. Thank you for sharing. Happy Stitching Brenda Lea
I am old school to but i like thinking outside my wee box some days lol thanks Brenda
These are beautiful. Now a days people have all colours used at Christmas. The design is prefect for Xmas towels, Hugs Lynn
For me, I think color does make a difference depending on the design. Since it is a Christmas tree, I would think any colors other than green, silver, white, red, or gold is good. I'd not want a tree done in yellow. I have seen trees done in colors that I wouldn't use, but color is really personal preference, and in the end nothing is truly "right" or "wrong."
