3294865925I think both look great. Thread colors have to go with the background they are sewn on - so sometimes they are not traditional colors - but they still look great. :)

51302For me, I think color does make a difference depending on the design. Since it is a Christmas tree, I would think any colors other than green, silver, white, red, or gold is good. I'd not want a tree done in yellow. I have seen trees done in colors that I wouldn't use, but color is really personal preference, and in the end nothing is truly "right" or "wrong."
