My granddaughter had a miscarriage yesterday--a little baby boy--we are all so sad and heart broken. She is trying to think positive and says it was meant to be but sick about it.

So hard for a young couple and everyone thinks it's so sad, they don't want to talk about it. "You can have another." "You're young.""It wasn't meant to happen right now for you." Be there for her to listen and to have someone to talk to. It helps to name him and have a funeral.

I am so sorry for her and all of your loss. She can't help but be heart broken.Even though she says it was 'meant to be' and God knows best, it is still painful to accept. I don't know how far along she was, but it is still a life lost.... My daughter is 14 weeks along in her pregnancy and the reason I am saying is, you can actually see the facial profile/body very well, in the photos of the ultrasound. There is a life!.... I will pray for her sweet broken heart. You are a very caring grandmother to understand her sorrow. I learned that miscarriages aren't just interrupted pregnancies, but the loss of a child that you have loved already.
