145789the mats are great Loralye, but what sort of stabilizer did you use. I cannot see any that is left, so perhaps you used a wash-away? I always struggle to get the little bits out of the quilting!!

6573They all are lovely and great way to use your beautiful fabrics.
If the quilting is done in one step I take the needle down to bring the lower thread to the upside, this way I have not to trimm threads on the backside. If you use the mat on the front side only, some fray check will fix your problem on the left.

fray check thanks I think I have some of that too. I was thinking I would have to satin stitch all over again but this works better. ~hugs~
