I used to keep a bottle of Frey Check in my desk at work. It is great for stopping runs in nylons(does anyone wear them anymore?). Much more gentle on the skin than using clear nailpolish.

I use a similar product called Fray Check by Dritz. I put a dot on the back of all of my embroidery so that my ending stitches don't come loose. It also works on any woven fabric to stop reveling as Miss Lill says. It stays very soft and is totally transparent.

I've always got this on hand. It's especially good for end of ribbons to keep them from raveling, only takes a tiny bit /Lillian

I've never used anything like this. Can you enlighten me as to how and when you use it?

I think this is like a fabric glue to stop fraying the fabric if you use no satinstitch. I use a similiar product if I cut near the seam at the inner corners befor turning to prevent bulk.
I give a drop fabric glue at the corner after cutting.
