Had a bad afternoon embroidery wise. Totally ruined a t shirt as machine decided to play up. Had a cup of tea and left the machine to calm down. I then made this - not a single hiccup. I have thrown the other t shirt away.

I try not to leave my machine alone for ANY REASON.....As sure as I do, it eats the item. The shirt is adorable... Use the bad one for practice or for doll T-shirts or dust cloths or to mop the floor or use as target practice!!!! Beautiful shirt you did. God bless you.

I think they (the machines) believe that they are superior and sacrifices must be made to them. I figure it's cheap enough to feed them a t-shirt or towel periodically for sanity sake.

he he he! You crack me up! Love Chris

katydid by katydid 14 Sep 2015

Well, I seldom walk out of the room any more. Even with the sequence feature it is some times hard to save a project. Kay

airyfairy by airyfairy 15 Sep 2015

It can get quite expensive and nerve wracking feeding them clothing.

This is really cute Sarah & as for the other tee shirt if Georgie plays with dolls of any kind then the jersey from the tee shirt is perfect for making doll clothes & the back side of the tee is perfectly suited for this so not a total loss~hugs~

Lovely design and colors. I know the problem too, but I use the parts of those shirts which are intact for applications or mixing with other shirts.

It has happened to all of us. I had one of my husbands button-up shirt he wears to work in there when my machine messed up and made a big big mess. I hate it when things don't go well. I see this shirt is just fine. Hope you have a better day today.

Very pretty. The machine needs a time-out. In the corner machine.LOL!
I have started not sewing over 1 hour without giving the machine a rest. It takes a little longer but I have really cut down on problems.

Thank you Caroline. Yes, it is for Ben. Unfortunately Georgie has outgrown my embroidered shirts and does not want them any more. :(

OH, no!

Kids have a tendency to OUTGROW shirts and other things we want to do with and for them!!!!!!!
