Take care!!!!! You listen to the doctor. Prayers your way and for John too.
So glad you both got some relief albeit temporary. I do hope you don't have to get that expensive needle therapy. Prayers for both of your health to improve. Love Chris
quit running your energizer battery down!!! take it easy!
Oh dear! Can you stitch with that thing on? Of course, because where there is a will there is a way! Bless you both, I hope the medicine helps hubby!
I hope John improves without the expensive treatment. And wish you relief - and the patience to give that arm of you some rest.
Don't tug on Superman's cape. Don't spit into the wind. Don't pull the mask of the old Lone Ranger and don't tell Carolyn to take it easy. Prayers for John and his relief and for your wrist, too.
Where there's a will there's a way, right Carolyn?. Wish neither of you had to go through all this and hoping you will be much better soon. How is all that wood going to be cut for the winter?. Hoping you already have plenty. {{((({((Hugs}))))))))). Lillian
Ouch for both, needles and price tag, praying that things improve for him. As for you, (I have been there) you have to give your arm the time to heel. It is probably the hardest thing to do (nothing) but it is the best thing to do. So try to relax and little and hopefully it will improve.
big hug
Michelle

Oh I'm so glad you went to the doctors for both of you! RA is a real PAIN to live with for both parties. Hope John is feeling better. I have to tell you I have the twin to you wrist friend. You need to stitch some FSL butterflies in purple to adorn your rather plain 'friend' lol hugs and prayers for you both.
Do hope that you both feel better soon, and that the brace will give your arm a rest and help to mend quickly. John is still in for a battle, hope this will ease his pain. Time for both of you to slow down and look after yourselves. Book reading time i think. Sandra.
Dear Carolyn, I'm glad you both got to go the doctor. I hope everything goes well. Today I have 3 hours infusion for my arthritis and each time I go cost me $1,000.00 dollars, but it is working. Like for your husband, this was the last resort after trying everything else treatment. I feel a lot better, thanks God. Many blessings to you and your husband! Love, Yoriko
omg i wondered what those people were getting in the next room .Now i know thanks i think???
Ouch for the two of you! I don't like the cast or the thought of a big needle for John. So I hope the pills work quickly for him and you are a good girl and keep the cast on. Hmm we have to come up with some way to incorporate purple into that cast. I'm thinking of a pretty purple bow. Or a purple sleeve to go over the cast. And maybe that could be embroidered.
Triple needle makes that arm support seem inconsequential. Ow, ow, ow. Hope all the treatments help you both. I think doc is again "hinting" that you may be stitching too much, hooping too much, etc.
oh i hope not i learned how to do it even with a cast there NO stopping Me ??Is there??lol hugs
Hi Carolyn, hope all goes well for both of you. Is this the wrist that you had problems some time ago. Time to slow down girlie, the sewing can wait. Hugs Marg
Yes 2 years ago they cast it for 9 weeks never hurt till this month after i dug up a rose bush:(:(as John could not do it!!!
All the best to both of you. It is challenging to be in pain and I wish you both well.
hope the pills for HB and the brace for you will do the job. Take good care. Didn't they have a brace in your favorite color? perhaps you can pimp it up a little. Hugs and prayers for the both of you )))
Hoping all works out...and you keep that brace on long enough for it to do it's job...
Looks uncomfortable but I bet you'll still do some sewing. Good luck & prayers for you & your husband. Arlene
Not nice at all grrrr. time to slow down a bit my friend with the sewing etc. I now love reading books with my feet up lol. Hope you might enjoy that too.
Good luck and best wishes to you both. x
Carole knowing you, that wrist support is coming off the moment you get to your embroidery machine, which probably has already happened. I hope you take care of that wrist and slow down a bit. Praying that the injection and pills will help John feeling better.
Oh Carolyn, sorry to see you have a support on your arm. Do hope the pills work for John and can keep him pain free. Hugs Lynn.
