Suzanne, sorry to hear of your troubles with the bad tenants.
My DH and I are untidy tenants, but the place is always spotless when we move out. And the landlord is always welcome to come and visit with us any time.
We helped a neighbour once who had tenants who attacked the walls with an axe. He had to rebuild some of the walls, it was so bad. Lucky the roof didn't fall in.

I'm sure there are homeless people out there who would give their right arm to live in a nice place. Good luck with the court case if it goes that far. As grandmamek says take photos before any future renting to safe guard yourself..

85867Suzanne, so sorry to hear of this. It is just unbelievable how some people can be such pigs and live in filth. I hope you took photos of the damage and if it goes to court they should be held liable for the damages. If you do decide to rent again be sure and take before photos of the apartment before your tenants move in. Hopefully you will get really good people in there and will have no further problems. It sounds as though you could really use a good relaxing vacation. Be sure and get some rest and treat yourself to something special. You certainly deserve it after what you have been going through.
