Wow, this is beautiful! I can't tell that you ran out of thread.... I can't spot any place that looks like you changed thread. Your mom will be tickled pink (or purple!) with this cushion. It is gorgeous!
Love that pillow fabric--wouldn't have thought it could be washable--looks like a silk dupioni from where I'm sitting. You ran out of thread??? Where, I no can find. Everything about it is GRAND!!!
Looks perfect to me. Trouble is we are always critical of our own work.
Lovely result ! I can not say were you rain out of the thread and when you used the other one. Leave it as it is. Is so beautifull.
I see the change but it blends in so well, it is lovely the way it is. I know you are going to point it out but try not to and see what happens. In nature things are not perfect so why should our projects be perfect. We are human and no human is perfect. Your Mom will love it. .
Thank you for sharing Happy Stitching
I sure wouldn't make any changes. It's lovely as it is and the thread color just blends in.
I think I did see where you made the change, but it is so minor I wouldn't worry about it at all.
I made two changes can you see them both? actually I used 3 different variegated threads. So it is nice to know that they do blend in. Thank you very much Lynn, ~hugs & **~
Awesome gift!!Stunning work and love the fabric!!!!
Lovely....and no one would ever notice there was a thread issue....don't let Carolyn close to this as it might just disappear!
Rea!ly do !like the verigated thread and the peacock Mom will be very proud of this. Great job/Lillian
Looks great to me love the variations in the threads. Well done, i would not tell anyone about the thread colour. Sandra
It looks as if it should be like this - brighter colour around the outside. Never mind THE one solid coloured feature, as long as you don't tell nobody would start Looking for it or notice.
It's beautiful and your quilting has not got a wobble in it, my straight lines are not always that straight. Well done!
Martine I use masking tape so my lines are all equal. There is no one solid color I used 3 different variegated threads the one that your thinking is solid is purple, pink & very pale blue. Thank you very much, ~hugs & **~
I wouldn't worry about the threads Loralye as your attention is drawn to the whole bird. It looks fantastic and your Mum will absolutely love it. I love the purple fabric too. Did you do the cross hatching on the front as well? Love Chris
yes the quilting is pretty easy as I use masking tape to make my marks. Thanks Chris, I guess a peacock is pretty colourful. ~hugs ***~
Very pretty. Smart to make it washable. I forget to do things like that.
I can't tell and neither will your Mom. as has been said don't tell anyone about your thread problems and no one will guess.
It is beautiful. You're Mom will love it.
It is beautiful. It is how the light is reflecting to change the brightness. Lol!
This is gorgeous! Don't tell a soul about your thread problem and no one will guess. Happy Birthday, Mom. Great job, great idea. hugs
Loralye this is just gorgeous and anyone would be hard pressed to work out the star of the new thread ..it dosent matter it is beautiful....soozie
Don't change anything and don't point out where the thread ended. Only you know, Call it finished and move on to your next project.
Wow, very beautiful pldc.
It would be a good idea to add a zipper and allow to remove the pillow for washijng or other.
Your work is well done, nothing to change.
Hugs,
PS, it will also be my mother's birthday on July 17 ...I soon show you what I embroidered and sewed her. ( wink)
This is Beautiful. Love everything about it. Well done. Lucky mom.
