Another doily I have made using a cutwork design as a border.

The design is called Cutwork Flower 3 from Embroidery Inspirations collection by Sue Box. I have used the single design in my software to duplicate it five times and place them in a circle. Love the result.

I love the fantastic stitchouts your do of these designs. You manage to get them so flat and no pokies. Your really do a good job of lining up the elements of this doily. Well done!

Stunningly beautiful! I'll check the newsletter for your instructions. Thanks for sharing how you do this. I'm going to see if this will be accepted in my 8x8 hoop.

lidiad by lidiad 09 Jul 2015

This doily measures 199x197mm or 7.82x7.76" so it fits your 8x8" hoop. The instructions have been made for my previous cutwork border doily but they apply to this doily as well. The only difference between the two doilies is the number of inner contour stitches to be created: this one requires two instead of three.
Thanks for your comment, Sandra.

I found it this way: Under the picture of my new doily, at the top of the Newletter, click on the large, blue, underlined words
"Sue Box Creations, FREE project notes for a beautiful doily", then select Embroidery Projects on the left of the page, then scroll down and you'll find "Cutwork Flower 2 Doily". Click Details.

Spokesperson? I don't know about that.... I would like to clarify that I'm one of their embroidery friends, I'm not on their payroll. I just love Sue's designs. Thanks for your comment, Karen.

Beautiful work . Wish I had that big of a hoop. Think a single would look good on a dinner napkin.

lidiad by lidiad 09 Jul 2015

Thanks for your comment. A single could be a bit large for a napkin, but you can try.

It does look larger because there are so many pretty azaleas in your arrangement.

lidiad by lidiad 10 Jul 2015

Love these little azaleas, they have been in flower for months. Hugs, Lidia
