We are busting at the seams with kittens. I have a mama who has 4 that are 4 weeks old Tuesday. Another mama that has 4 that are a day older than the other four. I have a 6 week old without a mom and Sophie gave birth last night to 6. We spent the day with her. It was hot and she was panting all day. We had to keep her hydrated cool with wet cloths and she finally gave birth from 5pm to 10pm last night. Poor thing is exhausted. They are all so cute.

Child , you have too many cats. I love then too but you must find a way to adopt them out I went to Walmart parking lot with a trunk of kittens and got rid of all of them in no time. I prayed they went to a good home and let it go. Kay

We will adopt them all out. I know they go to good homes as we have an adoption process. People fill out applications and we check on the homes. It is not left to chance. We had more than this before Christmas and they all went to great homes. I have no doubts these will too.

Thanks Chris! It is a lot of work but rewarding at the same time. Getting these kittens, cats , mamas off the streets into loving homes for a better life if lots of work. But they do have better lives with our help. I just wish more people would help. Suzanne

Of course I will,you are so needed by all the dear little kittens and full grown cats. My daughter and grand daughter both write for grants frequently for money for each of the H.S. Libraries where they are librarians. Listening to them I know it's not easy. I hope it goes well for you two/Lillian

I do so hope you get your grant. Sure wish we could educate more people about the need for spaying and neutering. Our local animal shelter has been overrun by cats and are offering free adoptions for them this month. It is a real problem.

It is a huge problem. I wish there was more education. There are so many irresponsible owners ... the cat get pregnant and then get dumped. It is the owners faults not the poor cat . You see so many bad things when you rescue. Thanks Suzanne

Hi, Suzanne! Hope you are successful with the grant. I know all the kittens are adorable! I lost my favorite pet, a gray tabby male named "Sam", about two years ago. Miss him so much. You can see him in my avatar pic, where I am holding him. If I lived close enough, I would definitely adopt one from you. Live in Macon, Ga.; where are you located? You do have lots of work ahead caring for them. Good luck!
