Want to show my "cap frame" my hubby made for me this wk. Is made from clipboard from Walmart and cost about $1 or $1.50usd. Someone showed theirs a few days ago--sure is a money saver. We are lucky to have spouses with workshops and willingness to take on our emb projects, aren't we? I drew the pattern as seen on Youtube (sorry, history deleted, so cannot post link). It fits into my 5x7 hoop for Brother Pacesetter ULTD. I have been so busy this week that have not tested it--but looks good and fits good. I have added another dust catcher to my sew room. haha

edited to add The center opening in this is 5.25 x 5.25 inches, but the clipboard is so sturdy, that I think it could be more rectangular and allow for use with other projects, perhaps?

I hope that it works out well for your needs. Yes, having someone knowledgeable of woodwork and with a workshop is a blessing. My husband can absolutely design anything and, his designs work! Love!
