Hi...everyone, this is a square patchwork bag and my first try. I used 17 square blocks ....3 1/2 inches. The plain fabric is upholstery fabric and is very soft. For the handles..I stuffed fibre. Couldn't find a matching button so I made a rose button using ribbon. As the bag is very small, attaching the lining was pretty tough but stitching the patchwork was fun. The actual pattern uses 22 squares and the bag is bigger...would be much easier to stitch the lining.
