Crochet, 2 afghans 1 in blues, other in pinks, greys and black 60x70. C to C pattern. I'm presently working on 2 more.. I have taught myself Tunisian crochet and made 4 of these cowls , here are 2. These and afghans will be Christmas gifts. that's me modeling them. Stand in front of mirror, point camera at you and watch the back pic in the mirror. Snap. Easy as pie/Lillian

Beautiful work. Crochet? Looks like knitting. I must get back into crochet next winter--it is very relaxing for me---knitting not so much.

Your afghans are very nice! You will make someone VERY happy. I love your cowls too. I can crochet but always used the small cotton threads, like for doilies. Not sure what your hook looks like or this technique.

You can google Tunisian crochet and learn about I think. They also have tutorials on You tube//Lillian

you are actually doing Christmas already! I am impressed. I can barely bring myself to about 7 hours of work on line for my nursing bosses that needs to be done by the end of May. They are all really pretty. The tunisian crochet hurt my hands when I tried it years ago so I am even more impressed. Thanks for sharing these with us.

Thank you! I used a large dbl ended hook(has a hook on each end of it)I have arthritis in my hands and a yr or so ago had a lot of trouble doing anything like crocheting or knitting, they are lots better now and so I'll keep at it be cause I think the exercise helps along with playing the piano again. Thank you for your comment/Lillian

Yes, Lilian, we keep knitting and playing piano to keep the fingers limber! Your handwork is beautiful.

You might like this kim. CrochetKim.com is where the pattern for the cowls came from.I used a 10" dbl ended hook size L that was made from Bamboo.. Couldn't find any dbl ended ones near me to buy so ordered from Amazon about $7.00 with shipping. It's called Dueling colors cowl/Lillian
