Good day Cuties,Guess who spent their first night in their 'new' home? We picked Avery and her brother up for school, at their new home, this morning! They won't know what to do with all the space. They went from a 3 bedroom smaller home, to 4 large bedrooms with large closets in each room, large utility, etc. 3100 square feet.I am so happy for them.Avery room is large as are the other 2 kids room and should be able to accommodate her appliances, without overcrowding. The last picture was taken earlier with cell phone.Pray God blesses them in their new home....She sees the surgeon tomorrow...Toogie

This last photo was taken, when they first looked, at the house. Now everything is green and in bloom, like in the top photos. My daughter is off on Fridays, so maybe she can try to get things unpacked and placed.

Thank you Suzanne, I'm sure they will ! They couldn't even park Avery's chair in her room, when she was in bed in the old house, the room was was so small. All the rooms were small, but they managed till they could do better. When Nora came along it got even more crowded, so I am glad for them. They worked hard for it, saved a good portion, so they deserve to live more comfortable.

Kay, I told her I hoped they figured in a house keeper, when they figured their house note...she said they did. I know it would do me in for sure, just to clean all the flooring. No wonder you down sized !

Oh! Wow! Toogie what a brilliant looking home. I love all the Gardenias along the front garden and those yellow Lilliums!

May God bless your family as they settle into this lovely new home. How brilliant too that they are not that far away from you. I'm so glad that you will still be able to help with all their needs as well.

Can't wait to see Avery's new room all set up and of course the other children's rooms too. Happy days ahead. Love Chris

Thank you Chis, the flowers do make it look inviting and like 'Home'. They will always live close to me, as I promised to help with Avery, as long as I am able or until God calls me home...I want to take photos of the rooms but she doesn't have all unpacked or placed....I laughed when she told me what happened when they first went to look at the house, but I didn't laugh after I went. I did the same thing as Nora, but I didn't cry (lol) As they did the walk through, Nora lagged behind and then got turned around and started crying because she couldn't find them. Grayson drew me a 'map' of the floor plan-lol- He may have done it as a joke, but it sure helped me the next time!

Thank you for the blessing and yes, thank God, they both have very good jobs. When they were first going to build, she told me how much they had saved and to be honest, I was not only impressed but very proud of them.( They have only been married 4 1/2 years, his first and her second marriage.)

Yes, it is exciting for them. My daughter loves to decorate and even though now there is space, I'm sure she will fill it up! When I went to get Nora, I went to see what was unpacked in Avery's room. She had a full bed and her IV/feeding pole on the other side, some furniture pieces and she still had plenty room for her wheelchair and room for others to work around her. It will be so much better, easier. I asked how she did in a full bed and all went well. They gave Nora Avery's old bed. It was Nora's great-grandfathers. Not a baby bed but not a twin either. It has railings but Avery was outgrowing it. When she kicked a lot, she could get her legs over the rails, and scoot to the edge.

Thank you for asking His blessings... When their bids came in for the home they wanted to build, it was more than asking price of this house, and was going to be a smaller house.. So SIL said one night, why didn't they just go look at this house, she may take less. They negotiated and finally agreed on a fair price for both. It was over priced. The owners had updated even though the house is not that old. Now has the roll in shower for Avery, granite counter tops kitchen and 3 baths, the pot filler at the stove top, etc. things they had in their house plans. God knows they didn't need the stress of building.(I had to pick Mason up at school. He has a bad headache. Got hit with a baseball, and now back from the Doctor, he has a concussion! And Avery still sees the surgeon tomorrow!) That's the 'Days of Our Lives' -wasn't there a soap opera named this? -lol

So pleased for them. Their dreams came true because they worked at it. What is the tracking system?

toogie by toogie 19 May 2015

The tracking was a rail system in the ceiling, to go from Avery's bed, to the master shower. A lift with a sling seat would pick her up and then she could 'swing' along to the bath. Just would have made it easier as she gets heavier, not so hard on the back.

We are about the same distance as before, about 5 country miles, I think. Thank you, I want to show you the kids rooms, when she unpacks & get things put away, where they go. She still doesn't have Masons bed back, nor her claw foot tub. Both are going to be refinished. I made Nora's bedding and gave Avery hers, although I didn't make it, and I made Mason pillow cover I showed in Projects. Anxious to see how they will look.

Dear Toogie! This is so wonderful and may your sweet family be blessed in their new home. Wishing you all the best - and it is such a gift for a family to have room enough for each child to develop at her/his best.
Wishing you all many happy family and friends gatherings.

Thank you for the blessing for them, Maria. They have been saving, ever since they married a few years ago, for a home large enough. Avery's room was so crowded, you couldn't get to one side, it was against a wall, in order to move around the other side. They had planned on building and had even had their house pad put down 2 years ago, for it to settle good. God had other plans. Everything that was planned for the new construction for Avery, was already in this home, except for the tracking system. It has been proven over and over God never closes one door without opening another. And sometimes we humans make certain plans and although His plans may go in a different direction, He still more than meets our needs.(Their house plans were for a 2200 square foot home and this one has 900 sq ft more.) God is good-
