Lovin' the Cross Stitch...so I did this Floral Frame as part of a digitizing cross stitch challenge for my class. I actually did the cross stitch with batting underneath it and then quilted the inside to make a table mat...this was a bit challenging for me as I had not used the cross stitch program before...but I am happy with the way it turned out...especially for my first try at it..let's see what my teacher has to say...

amazing - would never occur to me to incorporate batting - looks so nice!! - love all the parts - border, colors, inside quilted and blue binding. Did I leave anything out - I really like this!

WOW--Design and Stitch-out project!! I just sit here eyeing all the beautiful things and dreams of doing and yet I never seem to do. I need an energy pick me up--all you ladies have a lot of vitality--where does it come from??? Love this!

Sometimes it is just the start that is stimulating and once yu get started the bug hits you with idead aftetr idea!!

Thanks Joann...I appreciate your kind words...this is done a decorating fabric like Moire...it is polyester, believe or not...I am working on a multi-hooping design that will actually be done on Moire..I love that look...
